Frequently Asked Questions

What is RS2 used for?

RS2 is primarily used for Surface Dressing, Chip Sealing and Penetration Macadam applications.

What is the difference between RS1 and RS2?
  • RS1: Lower viscosity, ideal for tack coat applications.
  • RS2: Higher viscosity and higher binder content (min 65%), suitable for surface dressing and aggregate binding.
Why is higher binder content important in RS2?

Higher binder content improves aggregate retention and enhances the durability of surface dressing layers.
